You’ve probably heard of 30 Day Singer. You may have even checked out some of their content to see whether their program is right for you.
But the question remains – does 30 Day Singer really work? Does it deliver on its promise? Can you improve as a singer in just 30 days? It seems kind of lofty.
In this hands-on review, we’ll be looking at what you can expect to accomplish if you become a member of 30 Day Singer.

What To Expect As A New 30 Day Singer Member
Getting started on 30 Day Singer is relatively risk-free. You can register as a member and access a few preview lessons without even purchasing a paid plan. While it might not be enough to tell whether you’ll improve in 30 days, it should be enough to tell whether it’s going to be a good fit for you (at which point you can upgrade).
The beginner lessons cover mixing, belting, vibrato, falls and scoops, falsetto, back phrasing, major scale, major and minor chords, harmonizing, cooldown, songs, and more.
Since most vocal teachers focus heavily on breathwork, exercises, and singing from the diaphragm early on, it’s fair to say that 30 Day Singer covers a lot more ground while focusing on the work that will get you off to a running start.
(Which isn’t to say they don’t also cover the fundamentals.)
You don’t require talent or prior experience to be able to learn to sing in 30 days. 30 Day Singer’s primary instructor Camille van Niekerk’s claim is that if you can speak and vary your pitch, you can learn to sing. And she is right. You can make up the difference with practice and a willingness to learn. This truly is going to make the biggest difference in your singing career (not talent).
So, while you might think you need to know a thing or two about singing before getting started, you truly don’t need to know anything to be able to get results in 30 days or less.
Now, while beginners should expect to see real results in 30 days, if you are more advanced, naturally it’s going to take more effort to reach the next plateau. But with the variety of courses available, as well as the ability to book private lessons with the instructors, even singers with some experience under their belt can efficiently level up their vocals with 30 Day Singer.
Although we’ll cover this in more detail later, it should be said that students should not expect to get results without putting in the work. This may seem obvious, but you really can’t get something for nothing!
To see real results in 30 days, you will need to follow the lessons to the letter. Do the program as designed!
What Does 30 Day Singer Cost?
Although you can scan the content available on 30 Day Singer as a new member, you will need to upgrade if you want access to more than just preview lessons (which won’t be enough to help you develop as a singer and get real results).
30 Day Singer has two convenient plans you can take advantage of:
- Monthly: $29.95 per month
- Annual: $10.75 per month (or $129 billed yearly)
What 30 Day Singer Can Help You Achieve
The beginner course is a step-by-step program that teaches you the fundamentals of singing. At each step, you’ll know exactly what to work on, so you aren’t pulled in a bunch of different directions, getting distracted by things you don’t need to work on right now.
First, the course will have you working on your breath with various exercises, warmups, as well as techniques that will help you strengthen your voice.
Next, you’ll be working on your breath control to increase your vocal power.
Finally, you’ll gain the confidence necessary to sing in front of your family, friends, fans, and so much more.
Again, it might seem like a lofty promise that you could achieve all this in 30 days or less, but many students of the program have been able to do exactly what I’ve outlined here (we’ll have a more detailed look at what students have been able to achieve a little later in this review).
If you’re already an experienced singer, you’ll still be able to take advantage of advanced courses and benefit from the program. Whether it’s runs and embellishments, performance, or classical singing, there aren’t too many niches that haven’t been covered inside the membership. Again, it’s all about the effort you put into it!
As well, some 30 Day Singer students said they picked up a few “secrets” they couldn’t find anywhere else.

You Only Get What You Work For
Where “results” are mentioned, it’s important to set expectations.
What’s true of most if not all courses are that no matter how great the program or instructors, if you don’t put in the work, you can’t expect to improve as a singer.
We can’t completely disprove learning by osmosis, but we haven’t seen it work for anyone, let alone us! So, the only sure way to get better as a vocalist is to practice, practice, practice.
What’s great about a program like 30 Day Singer is that it offers structure and support. The courses follow a logical progression, and if you ever get stuck, you can ask questions in the forum or get a private lesson with available instructors.
Obviously, no matter the course, results are never “typical” or guaranteed. But if you’re a complete beginner, follow the course for 30 days, and still don’t improve, you would be the exception rather than the rule. Even if it’s in small ways, you should be able to progress.
By adopting proper technique and best practices, strengthening their voice, improving their breathwork, pitch, and enunciation, practically anyone can become a better singer in a short amount of time, even if they don’t instantly go from a karaoke bar star to the front man of an arena rock band overnight.
If you plan the work and work the plan, the program works! It doesn’t work if you do it lazily or half-hearted.
Does 30 Day Singer Really Work? The Verdict
So, does 30 Day Singer work?
Yes, 30 Day Singer works, and it works phenomenally.
Students have reliably found the courses concise, easy to follow, and results oriented. Many have gained confidence in a matter of weeks. Numerous students are following their dreams of growing their careers as singers, on stage, on YouTube, or otherwise.
If you don’t work at it daily, your pace of progression will naturally be slower. But one of the great things about an online singing program like this is that you can take it at your own pace if you wish. If you don’t mind taking a little longer to get to where you want to go as a singer, there’s nothing wrong with going slower. There’s no pressure to do it all in 30 days unless you want to.
As we mentioned in our 30 Day Singer review, this training basically makes the process of improving as a singer a no-brainer. You don’t need to have all the answers, or even have experience to dive in and start learning. All you need to do is to follow the program, and if anything comes up, get additional support in the forum or with personal lessons.
This makes potential obstacles like confusion, frustration, or bad habits easier to confront and manage on your singing journey. If you’re doing it wrong, you can find out sooner rather than later and make needed corrections to keep improving as a singer.
After all, the fastest, most direct path between any two points is a straight line. But a singer’s journey isn’t always a straight line, and there's no shame in seeking extra support.
30 Day Singer is also affordable in the grand scheme of things. How long you stay is ultimately up to you, but if you put the time and effort into it, your hard work will be rewarded.
Following a program with the wrong information would obviously not work. There are just too many things that could go awry. You could damage your voice following bad advice, and that can slow your progression to a halt.
The right advice will get you to where you want to go more efficiently. And 30 Day Singer offers the right advice to aspiring singers.
